People have asked me why I love horses as much as I do. Many times I have pondered the answer to that question, but with only a personal feeling answered my inquiry. Have you ever had to answer that question? Have you figured the cause of your affection towards the magestic creature that is the horse? Now, I've discovered the reason why: look into a horse's eyes and you will see the countless generations of horses who have served the human race for thousands of years faithfully for nothing in return--beat horses, starved horses, horses who no longer possess a spirit. They deserve more than that. They deserve respect arfer how much they so willingly gave for us. With all this taken inot account, it's hard for me--and i hope the same for you as well--not not just take them as a faithful animal, but embrace them as I would a dear friend, because that is was they are.
Here are some things that can be learned from horses:
If someone's always on your back, lie down and play dead or run like heck
Happiness is a warm, fuzzy blanket and someone to share it with
Who needs nuclear power when you've got natural gas?
Eat plenty of roughage
When you want your way, stomp hard on the nearest foot
In times of crises, take a poop
Act dumb when faced with a task you don't want to do
A swift kick in the butt will get anyone's attention
Love those who love you back, especially if they have something good to eat
When in doubt, run far, far away
You can never have too many treats
Passing gas in public is nothing to be ashamed of
New shoes are an absolute necessity every 6 weeks
Ignore cues, they're just another prompt to do work
Never run when you can jog
Never jog when you can walk
Never walk when you can stand
Heaven is eating at least 10 hours a day and sleeping the rest
